On Monday I finally qualified as a Vinyasa Flow Yoga instructor! After years of dreaming, scheming and saving the pennies I’m feeling a little overwhelmed that I’ve actually done it and that I’ve been able to tick one massive life goal off my list. I’ve learnt so much, met wonderful people from all over the world and seen some beautiful places – and to top it all off I can now do crow!
The whole experience is still a bit of a blur so over the next few days I’ll try and gather my thoughts and reflect on the whole experience with a little more clarity. At the moment my resounding memories are that of an enormous lizard crashing down from the ceiling during morning meditation (priceless) ; doing a million chaturangas; and drinking my first class of red wine in 3 weeks – heavenly!
Since the course I’ve been relaxing and partying on Gili Trawangan, which is a beautiful island that has horses and carts instead of cars, much to my delight. I’ve been busy cycling around the island, running at sunrise, snorkelling, lounging on the beach and working my way through the cocktail menu- simply exhausting. All of this exertion means that a bit of indulgence and pampering back in Bali is due before I head home next Thursday.
A huge thank you to Frog Lotus Yoga for providing me with such an amazing experience!
I hope you’re all well,
